This is a very intriguing book. I bought it after running into the premise of the story in a random online article.As an animal rights activist, I am horrified by what happened to so many monkeys and animals during this time period. At the same time, I am intrigued by what could be very historic scientific achievement and the many developments this can lead to in the futureThis was a pretty easy read. The style of the book is a bit reminiscent of The Devil in White City, another book I liked. I would recommend this book to others—in fact, I actually already did :)
